Honestly, Honey - The Trailer Before We Overshare

Welcome to Honestly, Honey

This short trailer gives you a taste of what’s coming when two people decide to turn on the microphones and say the things they’re usually just thinking.

Before the real show begins, you’ll hear a few bloopers (because… apparently we can’t start anything without messing up first). Then we introduce the idea behind the podcast and what you can expect from future episodes.

The concept is simple:

We each write our thoughts down on paper about a topic — without knowing what the other person wrote.

Then on the podcast, we read them out loud for the first time and react to each other in real time.

No rehearsing.

No filtering.

Just honest reactions.

And that’s where things get interesting.

We’ll be talking about just about everything:

• everyday situations

• faith and deeper conversations

• TV shows and entertainment

• life experiences

• random thoughts that turn into unexpected discussions

Sometimes we’ll agree.

Sometimes we definitely won’t.

But it will always be honest.

If you enjoy real conversations, laughter, and hearing how two people think through life’s questions together, you’re in the right place.

Welcome to Honestly, Honey.

New episodes coming soon.

About the Podcast

Honestly Honey
Thoughtful, funny conversations about stories, culture, faith, and ideas — with The Rizzos.
Honestly Honey is a lighthearted conversation podcast hosted by The Rizzos.

Each month they sit down to explore a topic that sparked their curiosity. It might be a TV show they are watching, a book they are reading, a biblical idea they are learning, or a cultural moment that got them thinking.

Before recording, each of them answers questions about the topic individually. Then they come together on the podcast to discuss their answers for the very first time. This leads to authentic reactions, thoughtful perspectives, and plenty of humor along the way.

Some episodes unpack the deeper themes behind a show like The Walking Dead, exploring questions about morality, leadership, survival, and human nature. Other episodes revolve around books, faith insights, cultural ideas, or simply the interesting conversations that happen when two people look at the same topic from different perspectives.

The goal is not to have perfect answers. The goal is to have meaningful, curious, and often funny conversations about the ideas shaping our lives.

New episodes release once a month on the 17th.
